What is BERG Cloud?
BERG Cloud is the world’s friendliest and most complete platform for connected products; secure, stable and extendable.
We are making the same technology, tools and user interface that we used to deliver Little Printer available for you to use in your own products. The fastest and easiest way for anyone to prototype and produce connected products for the home and business.
A message from Matt Webb, CEO of BERG:
Web-connected products are smarter, more social and more alive. As hardware and the cloud meet, new product categories are born and new business models are enabled.
The network is the new electricity. Connecting products is the new electrification.
But building and sharing connected products is complex and expensive. This means that new products are created either by huge corporations with deep pockets, or as one-offs by smart individuals. There’s an entire space in-between, currently tough — everything from prototyping a connected kitchen, running a design brief on a range of toys or building a new Kickstarter company, to simply sharing your one-off connected product with a dozen friends or family members.
By providing answers to these problems out-of-the box, BERG Cloud lowers the cost of invention and makes the experience more intuitive for users.
It’s not just bundling technology or providing smart answers to common challenges. We’re building our own products too, enabling us to see first-hand what tools and high-level services are required. Services like fleet management, so you can monitor and configure your product deployment in convenient groups, or prototyping and debug tools for the APIs. As we build on the platform to create new cloud services for our products and the products of our partners, these services are made available for everyone.
