At the end of June, Alice hosted the first Little Printer Hack Day. It was a success. 25 people came. 73 publications were registered on the system. 443 deliveries were sent to ten Little Printers. Only one of the publications was about cats.
We learned a lot, and one of the things we learned was that while we can make Developer Tools that will very accurately preview Little Printer publications, it’s even better if publishers can see their work emerge into the real world as tactile, papery, Little Printer editions.
So next Wednesday (26 September) between 6pm-9pm, Alice will be hosting an After School Club for Little Printer publishers. This is for people who are developing or designing a Little Printer publication, have used the Developer Tools, and would like to see how their publications will appear to Little Printer owners.
The After School Club will be held at the BERG Studio in London’s fashionable Old Street district, a.k.a. Silicon Roundabout. We’re limiting participation to just ten places, but any applicants who miss the cut-off point will have priority at future events. All you’ll need to bring is your laptop.
If you’d like to take part, drop us an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org with a couple of details about your publication — what it is and what stage you’re at — and we’ll get right back to you.
