Okay, it’s a BIG day here.
1. Little Printer finally passed “electromagnetic compatibility” testing yesterday. That means we’re legally allowed to ship!
2. Assembly of all the plastic, electronics, packaging and cables starts next Monday. We ship in just three weeks!
3. And today we’re announcing YET MORE absolutely incredible publications, all of which you’ll be able to subscribe to when your Little Printer arrives Real Soon Now.
Here are four of our new publications…

Spores
Jeff Noon is the author of Nymphomation, Pollen, and in 1993, the Arthur C Clarke Award-winning Vurt, terrific and defining novels set in a psychedelic, science-fictional Manchester.
We are massive fans.
He’s just released his first novel in a decade – Channel SK1N – and its a must-read. One of the reviews says it best: “This is Noon in high gear, showcasing his meticulous gifts as a wordsmith, his rebellious approach to storytelling, and his knack of multi-sensory invocation.”
And guess what: Jeff Noon is now on Little Printer. Subscribe to Spores, and you’ll receive extraordinary micro-science-fiction, one edition every day for 50 days.

Sunrise
There are a bunch of signed-up Sunrise fans in the studio. Sunrise combines your Google Calendar, Facebook and LinkedIn, and makes a daily digest of your agenda. It lands in your email inbox every morning.
And now Sunrise is on Little Printer! If you’re the kind of person who writes their todo list on a Post-It note every morning, or scribbles down addresses before you leave the office, this is for you.
Little Printer’s happy face disguises its deadly serious productivity role. When I used Sunrise for the first time, it was an aha moment. Combine that with headlines from the Guardian newspaper every morning (the Guardian are a launch partner) and my tasks from the Google Task List (Google are also a launch partner), my regular 8am delivery is extremely handy indeed.

More and more and more…
We’re also excited to announce:
- Friday Lunches from foursquare! Using foursquare recommendations – which are personalised based on the check-ins of you and your friends – receive new lunch venue ideas every Friday.
- And of course, Paper Pets – one of our favourite ideas from the Little Printer Hack Day — in which you can build your own zoo with a collection of origami animals. Delivered weekly, and so, so cute!

The photo above shows Fenton the Fox. Say hello to Fenton.
I’d also like to remind you about a few publications that you might have missed.
Pixel Presidents is an awesome miniseries from the creator of famed web comic Diesel Sweeties. Here’s pixel Abe Lincoln! Learn the history of the U. S. of A. and collect exclusive Commander-in-Chief portraiture all at once! Also pictured here is a new publication from Papadakis, who we’re going to be talking more about soon.

Lanyrd, the social conference directory, will give you news and useful information the very morning your conference starts.
And One Down is from the London Times, and is the concisest of all concise crosswords — just two clues. Perfect to get the brain-matter going before you’ve had your first coffee.
Developers developers developers!
What’s wonderful about seeing these publications on Little Printer is that we’re seeing uses we never would have thoughts of on our own.
Spores and Pixel Presidents are publications from creators we admire deeply. We’re proud to be bringing a product into the world that they can use to create with too!
And Sunrise is downright useful!
Little Printer has an open platform, and we’ve been working really hard on the developer tools. Making a publication is like making a mini website, and you can test and prototype it using our developer tools, without even needing a Little Printer on your desk.
New to the developer tools: You can also submit your new publication to run through our moderation process (yes, we have to check publications don’t break the law, amongst other things), and get quick feedback from our developers and designers to help you get it absolutely perfect and ready for subscribers.
You can find the developer tools at remote.bergcloud.com/developers.
Wired 2012
On this big day, if you’d like to see Little Printer in person — we’ll be at Test Lab, tonight at the Wired 2012 conference here in London, where we’ll be unveiling these publications and letting conference attendees get hands-on.
If you’re there, please do come say hi!
