Berg has been developing products and inventing the future since 2005. Our base near Old St in London is at the heart of the cluster of tech and product companies known as Tech City, or more affectionately Silicon Roundabout.
We began life as a design consultancy, working on strategy and products with clients including Google, Intel, Bonnier and Dentsu, and in 2012 we were named by Fast Company as one of the world’s 50 most innovative companies.
More recently we self-funded and launched our own connected consumer product, Little Printer. Released to great acclaim in December 2012, Little Printer charmed and delighted families and social media addicts with its cute demeanour and handy functionality. Little Printer was shortlisted for the London Design Museum’s ‘Designs of the Year’ award in 2013.
As of October 2013, thanks to an initial seed round of investment from a syndicate including Connect, Initial Capital and Index Seed, we're focusing our attention on the tech we built to get Little Printer into the world -- the cloud services we wish had already been in existence.
So now we're making a platform for connected products. A toolset for developers, the APIs we always wanted, now available to everyone making connected products.
We're on a mission to take the hard out of hardware.
(So what is that, ware? That doesn't even make sense.)
If you're prototyping a web-connected prototype to Kickstarter, or working in R&D to figure out what connectivity means to your existing product lines, we'd love to chat. Get in touch at email@example.com.
